Question: Who is eligible for Cerebra Sleep Study?
Answer: You must be 18+, able to follow instructions and apply the home testing equipment when another individual is not able to assist.
Question: How long will it take to receive my kit once ordered?
Answer: We’re committed to getting your kit to you as quickly as possible. Your sleep study should arrive within 3-5 days of your order being confirmed.

Question: Do I need a referral from my doctor to do the test?
Answer: No, you won’t need a physician referral. However, you can print out your study results to share with your doctor after your test.
Question: Is there an extra cost for shipping?
Answer: No, all shipping costs are included in the purchase price.
Question: Is the study easy to set up?
Answer: Study setup usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour and most people find it fairly easy to do. Both video and printed instructions are included. If you encounter any problems during setup, our support team is available to help 24/7.
Question: What if I don't get a "typical" night sleep, will the results still be accurate?
Answer: If you don't feel you have a typical night's sleep, we will still get accurate data. However, we need a minimum of 4 hours of recording time for a study to be successful.
Question: What if my study doesn't work?
Answer: If for some reason your study was unsuccessful, we will provide another study to you at no additional charge.
Question: How do I know the study is valid and accurate?
Answer: The Prodigy Sleep System and Prodigy Digital Sleep Analysis are both Health Canada approved Class II Medical Devices. Sleep study data is reviewed by a certified sleep technologist to ensure results are accurate.
The equipment included in the study monitors some or all of the following: electroencephalography (EEG), ORP Sleep Depth, breathing, leg movements, body position, heart rate, and oxygen. This provides the most comprehensive home analysis of your sleep available.
Question: How long will it take for me to get my results?
Answer: Results will be ready in days, but will only become available once you have completed your questionnaire, the kit has been returned and the test has been reviewed by a registered sleep technologist.
Question: Are the results private and secure?
Answer: Privacy is important to us and we believe that our customers should always be in charge of what happens with their data. We are compliant with PIPEDA and PHIPA regulations. No personal information will be provided to anyone without specific consent.
Question: Is a Cerebra Sleep Study covered by insurance?
Answer: Cerebra Sleep Study may be eligible to be covered under some private insurance plans such as Health Spending Accounts (HSAs). Please check with your private insurance provider to find out more about your coverage options.
